Refund Policy

How refunds, cancellations, and your right to change your mind work at Pip. Plain language, no surprises.

The short version

Cancel anytime from the app — you keep your paid features until the end of the billing period, and we won't charge you again. EU/EEA/UK customers have 14 days to change their mind for a full refund; after that, monthly fees aren't refundable (the AI usage they pay for has real costs), though we'll always make it right if you were charged in error. Subscribed through the App Store? Apple handles those refunds.

1. Free to try, no commitment

Pip's Free plan costs nothing and never expires, so you can see how Pip fits your life before paying for anything. Paid plans (Pip and Pip Pro) are billed monthly, in advance, and renew automatically until you cancel.

2. Cancelling your subscription

  • You can cancel anytime — in the app, under Settings → Subscription.
  • When you cancel, you keep your paid features until the end of the current billing period. We don't charge you again after that.
  • Cancelling stops future renewals. On its own it doesn't refund the current period — see below for when refunds apply.

    • Cancelling vs. deleting

    Cancelling ends your paid plan but keeps your account and data. To delete your account and data entirely, see Settings → Privacy, or our Privacy Policy.

    3. Web purchases — cancellation and refunds

    Paid plans give you immediate access to paid features, and that usage carries real costs for us — the AI models you message cost money on every send.

    Changed your mind? (EU/EEA/UK)

    If you're a consumer here, you have 14 days from subscribing to cancel for a full refund — no reason needed, even if you've used Pip. Just email support@hellopip.ai within 14 days and we'll take care of it.
  • Cancel anytime — you keep access until the end of the current billing period and aren't charged again.
  • After the first 14 days, monthly fees aren't refundable for partial or unused time, unless the law requires otherwise or you were charged in error.
  • The Free plan is there to try Pip first, for as long as you like, at no cost.

    • Think your case is unfair?

    If you've barely used Pip, or something genuinely went wrong, tell us anyway — see Billing problems below. We'd rather hear it and make a fair call than hide behind a policy.

    4. App Store (iPhone & iPad) purchases

    If you subscribed through Apple on an iPhone or iPad, Apple processes the payment and handles refunds under its own terms. We can't refund App Store purchases directly. To request one, visit reportaproblem.apple.com or use your device Settings, where you can also manage or cancel the subscription anytime.

    5. Billing problems and duplicate charges

    Charged in error, charged twice, or something just looks wrong? Email us — we'll investigate and make it right, regardless of the windows above.

    6. How to reach us about a charge

    Email us from the address on your account and tell us what happened — a billing error, a duplicate charge, or a situation you think deserves an exception. We aim to respond within 2 business days and we'll make a fair call.
